So today I decided to make a cover for my sister's old glide rocker that will be joining the nursery as soon as it is painted. So I took off for the fabric store with a specific fabric in mind (chocolate brown with baby pink polka dots). After two stores and no such luck, I found the perfect fabric that matches the bedding we chose perfectly. So then it was home to wash and iron the fabric before attempting to sew it all together. Here's a look at the before and after shots!

Now I wouldn't want a master seamstress to look too closely at my work, but I am pleased with it and think it turned out pretty darn cute!
Another crafty moment occurred a couple of weeks ago, after some inspiration from a fellow blogger (thanks Crystal) I sat down and created this on my cricut. I will eventually frame it and hang it on the way in the nursery!

Now it's seven (darn that daylight savings time and losing an hour!) and I am ready to relax!
The glider looks amazing! I am very impressed. I really love the cricut art as well. Evan and I would love to have you and your husband over sometime. (We just went through some of Piper's newborn clothes and have some things for you guys.)
